Bowling Floor Table
Creating a centerpiece dining room table from reclaimed bowling alley floor.
Front Door Inlay
Designed and waterjet from a single piece of 1/2” Aluminum. The door inlay was blasted and patinaed.
Vine Wall Panels
I designed these wall trellis panels to blend seamlessly into a single, expansive unit. Made from 3/16 mild steel, these panels were laser-cut with precision. Wall mount stand-offs were welded in place, and a natural patina was carefully applied to achieve an earthy tone.
Casted Wall Tiles
Introducing Depth: When renovating a downstairs bathroom, I saw an opportunity to create dimension. Using a vacuum-formed mold, I meticulously crafted 20” tiles from a mixture of plaster, white glue, and chopped fiberglass additive. Once I positioned and affixed the tiles to the wall, I skillfully blended the seams to a seamless result. To achieve a finish that captures the look of stone, I applied a layer of textured coating before painting.
Counter End
After converting a kitchen wall into a bar top, I confronted the challenge of an exposed, unfinished wall end and no appropriate space for the oven. I fabricated a steel end piece that created floating shelves to leave visual open space around the corner. The steel was acid etched and blackened (rather than painted), which added to the project's complexity given the need to seamlessly blend the welds without any fillers. The finished piece includes a scheduled grow light and a hand-bent plexiglass guard for growing fresh herbs.
